You can find Nandani Retail over in Sector 4 of Vikas Nagar, tucked away quite close to the PNB branch. Our address is 4/930 A, which might be a little hard to spot if you are not familiar with the local lanes. This is just a small retail shop meant for the families living in this part of Lucknow. We sell all the basic things you might need at home, like flour, spices, and different kinds of cleaning supplies. The shop itself is not very large, so we have to use every bit of shelf space we have available. Sometimes the cardboard boxes are stacked almost up to the ceiling in the back. It is a quiet neighborhood for the most part, except for the times when people are heading to the bank nearby. We open up the shop in the morning and wait for the regulars to stop by for their daily necessities. It is a very steady and simple kind of life for us. We don't have any big neon signs or bright fancy lights. There is just a basic counter and some metal racks. The floor gets a bit worn out from people walking in and out, and we sweep it out every evening before we close. We just try to keep the items people need so they don't have to go too far. It is a humble neighborhood spot.
