Mukesh Store

Mukesh Store is a small general shop in the Aliganj area of Lucknow. We are located at Purnia, which is a busy little pocket of the city. Lucknow is known for its manners and its history, but here in the shop, it’s just about getting the daily chores done. We have all the basic stuff you’d expect from a neighborhood store. We sell milk, bread, soaps, and other daily necessities. The address is 226006 and we have been part of this Aliganj community for a while now. The shop is quite narrow, so you have to be careful not to knock things over when you walk through the aisles. We don’t have a team of managers or anything like that. It’s just Mukesh and a couple of us helping out throughout the day. We know the local kids who come in for a single piece of candy and the older folks who want to sit and talk for a minute while they wait for their change. It gets hot in the summer, and the small fan above the counter doesn't do much, but we are used to it. We keep the stock updated as best as we can, though sometimes the deliveries are late because of the traffic. It’s just a regular, imperfect shop where we do our best to help the people living nearby. No big promises, just a local store.
