Minqo Impex

Minqo Impex is based out of C-186 in Nirala Nagar. It’s a residential-looking area, so it’s a bit quieter than the main markets. Our office is basically a converted space that we’ve filled with computers and filing cabinets. We do a lot of import and export work from here. Most of the time we are just tracking shipments on the screen or talking to customs people. It’s not a very exciting office to look at. We have some old chairs and a big table where we spread out all the shipping documents. Sometimes the internet acts up, which is a real pain when you’re trying to send off important files. We’ve got a small porch out front where we sit sometimes to get some fresh air. The neighborhood is nice, and we know most of the people on the block. We don’t have a big sign out front or anything. Most of our business comes through long-time contacts. We’ve been doing this for a few years now, and the routine is pretty much the same every day. We start early, check the overnight messages, and then start making calls. It’s a steady pace. We try to keep things simple and not overcomplicate the process. It’s just us handling the day-to-day logistics from our corner of Nirala Nagar. There’s a cat that hangs around the front door, and we’ve started leaving out a bit of milk for it. The bookshelves are sagging under the weight of all the trade directories we’ve collected. We have an old clock on the wall that’s always five minutes fast, but we keep it anyway.
