Amisha Shopping Network

We are based over in Gomti Nagar Extension at House D 534 in Sector 4. Being near Sharda Apartment makes it easier for people to give directions when they are coming to visit. This whole area is still being built up, so there is always some kind of construction going on down the street. We manage a lot of different goods for the shopping network from this location. Most of my day is spent answering the phone or checking the latest items that have been delivered to our door. It involves a lot of moving things around and keeping track of where everything is going. We use the rooms on the ground floor for storage because it is much easier to load things onto the trucks that way. Sometimes the delivery drivers have trouble finding the right house in the extension, so I often have to go out and wait on the corner to show them where to turn. The traffic in Gomti Nagar can be quite heavy in the evenings, so we try to get all our work done early. It is a small operation, mostly just family and a couple of helpers. We don't have a big corporate setup with receptionists and fancy chairs. It is just us and the inventory in a regular house. We take our breaks in the kitchen and talk about the day. It is a lot of work, but we like being part of the neighborhood here near Sharda Apartment.
