Meghdoot Gramodyog Sewa Sansthan

Meghdoot Gramodyog Sewa Sansthan is based in Aliganj, specifically in the Chandralok building at room 303. Being in Aliganj means we are right in the middle of a lot of residential and small business activity. Our office isn't very large, but it’s where all the planning for our village industry projects happens. We deal with a lot of traditional products, so you might see samples of herbs or oils sitting around on the shelves. It’s a bit of an old-fashioned way of working, but it suits what we do. The building itself has seen better days, and the stairs can be a bit of a climb if the lift is being slow. We have a small group of people working here who handle the logistics of getting things from the rural production centers to the city. It’s a lot of coordination and talking to different people across the state. Sometimes it gets a little noisy with the traffic outside on the main road, but once you’re inside, it’s mostly just the sound of keyboards and the occasional phone ringing. We don’t really do big meetings or fancy presentations. Usually, it's just sitting around a table with a cup of chai, trying to figure out the best way to get the next batch of goods moved. It’s a steady kind of life here, focusing on the work we have been doing for many years.
