Manvi Traders

Our place is over at Plot No. F-98 in Transport Nagar. It’s right near that L D A Parag landmark, so most drivers don't have too much trouble finding us once they get into the area. Being in Transport Nagar means there is always noise. You hear the big diesel engines idling and the sounds of horns all day long. Manvi Traders deals with a lot of movement here. Goods come in on one truck and go out on another. It’s a lot of physical work, honestly. My back usually aches by the time five o'clock rolls around. The office is small and tucked away from the main loading bay so we can actually hear ourselves think when someone calls on the phone. We’ve had this spot for a bit and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but work keeps us too busy for that kind of thing. People come and go, mostly regulars who know how we operate. We keep a ledger for everything because the computer sometimes acts up when it gets too hot in the afternoon. It’s not a glamorous job, just trading and moving items from point A to point B. Sometimes the rain makes the yard a mess and we have to be careful with the loading. We just keep our heads down and get through the day’s list of tasks. There’s always something to sweep up or a pallet that needs moving around the warehouse floor.
