Mahaveer General Store

Mahaveer General Store is located in Shop 3 of Vidya Palace on Kursi Road. We are quite close to the Manas Complex here in Aliganj. Lucknow is a big city, but this neighborhood feels like its own small world. Our shop has a lot of different items packed into a small space. We have stationery, some plastic goods, and the usual snacks people like. The shelves are quite tall, so sometimes we have to use a stool to reach the top. It gets a bit dusty because of the heavy traffic on Kursi Road, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the counters. We are not a big chain store. It is just us running things day by day. Sometimes we run out of change, so we have to ask customers if they have smaller notes. People around here are very nice about it. We see a lot of the same faces every morning when the newspapers are delivered. The building, Vidya Palace, is not hard to find at all. We have been here for a while, seeing the shops around us change and move. We keep things pretty simple. There are not any bright neon signs. We just want to provide the basic stuff that families in Aliganj need without them having to go to a big mall. It is a busy life, but we like being part of the community here. Every day brings something a little bit different.
