Lucknow Kirana Company is at No. 88 Subhash Marg. This street is always buzzing with people and vehicles. We sell everyday items that people need for their kitchens. It is a traditional kirana shop. We have bags of grain, spices, and all the basics. The shop is small and the shelves are packed high. It has a certain smell, a mix of cardamom and burlap. Subhash Marg is our home, and we know many of the people who walk past our door. We aren't a supermarket. You have to ask for what you want, and we get it for you. Some days are very busy, especially in the mornings when everyone is shopping for the day's meals. We have been at No. 88 for many years. The building is old but it stays cool inside. We don't have a website or anything like that. If you need something, you just come to the counter and talk to us. It is a simple life and a simple business. We keep track of things in a notebook. It’s how we have always done it. Most people in the neighborhood know us by name and we know theirs. We just provide the staples and keep the shop running as best as we can. It’s not much, but it’s what we do. We open up at seven and close when the street gets quiet at night.
