Lep Lucknow

You can find us at Ahibaranpur, right on Sitapur Road. We are really close to the Naveen Galla Mandi, which means it’s always crowded around here. The trucks are constantly coming and going from the market, and the noise is just something we’ve gotten used to at Lep Lucknow. Our place isn't anything special to look at from the outside. It’s a functional space where we get our work done every day. Some days the dust from the road gets everywhere, so we spend a lot of time cleaning surfaces. We have a small crew and we’ve been working together for quite some time now. We usually start the day with some tea and talk about what needs to be finished. The area around Ahibaranpur has its own rhythm. When the Mandi is in full swing, you can barely move on the road. We try to plan our deliveries around that, but it doesn't always work out. The building we are in is sturdy but old. We have some heavy equipment and the floor is concrete. It’s a lot of manual work and making sure things are lined up right. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If someone shows up, one of us just wipes our hands and goes to see what they need. It’s a straightforward way of doing business in Lucknow. We keep our heads down and stay busy with whatever job is on the table that morning. Sometimes the tea we make is the best part of the day.
