Krishna Genral Store

Krishna Genral Store is situated right at 24, B.N Road, which is pretty close to the Burlington Chauraha in Lucknow. If you know the area, you probably know the Race Academy across from us. There are always people standing around there, waiting for their classes or just hanging out. Our shop is one of those places that has been part of the landscape for years. We aren’t doing anything revolutionary, just selling the usual stuff people need during the day. Sometimes it’s a student needing a notebook, and other times it’s someone living nearby who ran out of sugar. The traffic at the chauraha can be quite loud, and we hear the horns all day long, but you get used to it after a while. The shop itself is small, and we have to be careful about how we stack the crates so nothing falls over. We usually open up quite early because the morning crowd is always in a hurry. It’s a busy life here in Lucknow, and we are just a small part of it. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. We just keep our shelves filled and try to help people find what they’re looking for quickly. It gets a bit chaotic when several people come in at once, but we manage to get through the day. That is just how the store runs for us, honestly.
