Khadim Ali Nursery

We are based out in Mujasa, which is part of the Malihabad area. Most people know this region for its trees and greenery. Our nursery is a quiet place where we spend the early mornings watering saplings and making sure the soil is just right in the pots. We have rows of different plants lined up on the ground. Some are small fruit trees while others are just for shade or flowers. Malihabad is famous for its mangoes, so we naturally handle a lot of those. The mud gets all over our clothes and boots by midday, but that is just part of the work. We move heavy bags of manure and dirt when the supplies arrive, which is hard on the back. There are no big offices or fancy computers here. It is just the open ground and the plants. We have to watch out for the sun in the afternoons because it can be quite harsh on the younger leaves. Sometimes the fence needs a bit of repair because the local animals try to get in. We take our tea breaks under the shade of the bigger trees near the back. It is a simple life and we just focus on making sure everything grows the way it should. People from the city drive down to see what we have ready for the season, and we just show them around.
