Saurabh Photography

I’ve been running Saurabh Photography out of Rajiv Nagar for some time now. It’s a local setup, nothing too crazy or over the top. Most of my work involves going out to meet people where they are, whether it’s for a small family gathering or a bigger event in the neighborhood. My camera is always with me and I spend a lot of my late nights sitting in front of the screen going through all the shots. It’s a lot of work that people don't see, just trying to get the lighting to look natural or making sure no one had their eyes closed in the main group photo. I don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what I do. I just take pictures of things as they happen. Some days I’m just taking passport photos for people nearby, and other days I’m out all day in the sun at a park. Rajiv Nagar is a good spot because everyone knows each other. I don't really do much advertising; usually, someone just tells their cousin about me and then I get a call. My gear is getting a bit old but it still works fine and I know how to use it. It’s a simple life, just capturing bits of time for the families around here. I try to be honest about my prices and how long it takes to get the prints back. There is no studio with fancy lights here, just my bag of lenses and a laptop on my kitchen table.
