This particular branch of Jindal Steel & Power Ltd. Raigarh C.G. is tucked away in Lucknow, over in the Aminabad area. We are at House Number 44 in Rathkahana. It’s a busy part of the city, totally different from the big plants back in Chhattisgarh. Aminabad is always crowded with people and markets. Trying to find a parking spot around here is a real headache most days. We handle things from this side of the state for the Raigarh operations. The office is in an older building, the kind you see all over this part of Lucknow. It’s got character, even if the walls could use a fresh coat of paint. We deal with a lot of visitors and paperwork. People stop by to ask about orders or just to deliver mail. It’s a small team here compared to the massive workforce at the factories. We like the local food joints nearby; you can get the best kebabs just a short walk away. Our days are filled with phone calls and checking on shipments. It’s a link between the industrial heart and the city. We don’t have a big sign or anything too flashy. Most people just know us as the steel office in the neighborhood. It’s a bit noisy with the street traffic, but you get used to it after a week or two. We are just here doing our part.
