Bhushan Steel Ltd, Khopoli

Even though the name says Bhushan Steel Ltd, Khopoli, this particular office is actually way up in Lucknow. We are operating out of Vineet Khand in Gomti Nagar. The house number is L-2/622, and it’s a standard place in a busy part of the city. M Khan is the one who looks after things here. It might seem a bit odd to have a Khopoli steel office in the middle of Uttar Pradesh, but that’s how our network is set up. We handle a lot of the northern region's communication from this desk. Gomti Nagar is a nice area, usually pretty crowded during the day but it settles down at night. We don’t have heavy machinery here, just computers and phones. Most of our day is spent talking to people back in Maharashtra or dealing with local paperwork. It’s a quiet operation compared to a steel mill. We don’t have a big staff, just a few people keeping the wheels turning. The office feels more like a home, which makes the long hours a bit easier to handle. We have our routine: start early, handle the calls, and try to get everything filed before the heat of the afternoon. It’s a simple way of working. We aren't doing anything flashy, just making sure the business side of the steel company stays on track from this side of the country.
