We run Jaiswal General over in Sanjay Gandhi Nagar, Lucknow. You can find us right in the Sanjay Gandhi Puram area. It’s just a standard general store where we sell all the bits and pieces you might forget during your big grocery run. We have things like pulses, oils, and various snacks. It’s been here for years, and the building is starting to look a bit old, but it does the job. We don't have any big marketing plans or anything like that. We just open the shutters in the morning and start selling. Most of the people living around here know us by name. It’s a friendly neighborhood, and we like chatting with the customers while we weigh out their items. Sometimes we run out of something because the distributor didn't show up, but that's just how it goes. The shop stays quite cool in the winter, but we need the fans going full blast in the summer. We try to keep a bit of everything, from notebooks to dish soap. It’s a lot of work keeping track of all the small items, but we are used to it by now. If you're in this part of Lucknow and need a quick item, we’re usually the place people stop at. No fuss, just a regular shop for the locals. We might not have the fancy lights of a supermarket, but we know what our neighbors need. It is just a simple way to make a living.
