We’ve been running Marwa Cements out here in Indira Nagar for a long time now. Most folks in the local area know where we are located. It’s mostly just us keeping track of the inventory and making sure the trucks get loaded up without too much trouble. Cement isn't the cleanest business to be in, so our office is usually a bit dusty, but we don't mind that much. It’s just honest work. We deal with a lot of local builders and regular people who are just trying to fix up their own homes. There’s always someone coming in to ask about different grades of cement or how many bags they’ll need for a small patch job. We try our best to keep enough stock in the yard so nobody has to wait around too long for a delivery. Some days are packed with heavy deliveries and others are a bit slower, which gives us some time to straighten up the stacks. We aren't doing anything fancy here. We just sell cement and keep the books straight at the end of the day. It gets pretty loud when the heavy lorries pull in, but that’s just a normal part of our day. If you’re driving through Indira Nagar, you’ve probably seen our sign or the stacks of bags. We’ve seen this neighborhood change a lot over the years. We just keep doing what we do, making sure the supplies are ready. We don't spend much on advertising because word of mouth usually keeps us busy enough throughout the week.
