Hotel Umang

The hotel is located at 172/A on Latouche Road, which is also called Gautam Budh Marg here in Lucknow. It is a very busy part of the city, especially being so close to the Old RTO. There is always something happening on the street outside. You can hear the rickshaws and the crowds from early in the morning until late at night. The building has been here for years, and it shows its age in some spots, but we try to keep things tidy. We have a small reception desk where someone is usually sitting, even if they are just reading the paper. The hallways are narrow, and the rooms are just basic places for people to stay while they are in town for work or travel. We spend a lot of time doing laundry and making sure the floors are swept. It is a family-run kind of vibe, nothing like the big fancy hotels you see in the newer parts of Lucknow. We know the regulars who come through for business. The lobby has a couple of chairs that have seen better days. Sometimes the water pressure is not great, but we do our best to fix things when they break. It is a noisy, bustling place because of the location, but that is just life on GB Marg. We do not have any big slogans. We just open the doors every day and help people find their rooms.
