Hotel Charans International

Being at 16 Vidhan Sabha Marg means we are close to the center of things. The street is wide and usually busy with official-looking cars. We’ve seen many changes on this road over the years. Our hotel sits there, just a regular building among the others. We don't try to be something we aren't. We just offer rooms to people visiting the city. Some guests are here for government work, while others are just tourists. We treat everyone the same. The lobby is a bit plain, but it serves its purpose. We have a few chairs where people wait for their taxis. The staff knows the area well, so if someone asks where to find a specific office, we can usually tell them. It gets hot in the summer, so we make sure the fans and coolers are working. We spend our afternoons checking the linens and making sure the floors are swept. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but it needs to be done. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing team. Most people find us because they know the address. 226001 is a big zip code, but Vidhan Sabha Marg is easy enough to locate. We just keep the lights on and the doors open. It’s a steady kind of life here at the hotel. We don't have a kitchen that stays open all night, but there are plenty of places to eat just a short walk away from the front door. It’s a very practical place to stay.
