H.K. Malik Traders

H.K. Malik Traders is situated in Aminabad Park, which is a very crowded and old part of Lucknow. Our address is Ug-4/1, and it’s right in the middle of all the market chaos. If you know Aminabad, you know it’s never quiet. We are traders, so we spend most of our time dealing with bundles of goods and writing out lists for our orders. The shop is more of a place for business than a fancy showroom. We have stacks of items everywhere and the desks are usually covered in papers and ledgers from the morning. It’s a bit messy, but we know exactly where everything is kept. The fans overhead never seem to stop because it gets quite warm in this part of town during the summer. We have been in this area for a long time and have seen many changes in the local market. Still, the way we do things hasn't changed much over the years. We talk to the other traders nearby and help each other out when needed. It’s a tight-knit community here in the park. Customers come in looking for specific things, and we do our best to get it for them from our stock in the back. We don't use any big marketing tricks. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and get to work. It’s just a normal trading business in a very old part of Lucknow.
