Heaven Style

Heaven Style is located right on Phool Bagh Road in the Model House area of Lucknow. It’s a 226001 zip code area, which is pretty central if you think about it. The shop is a straightforward place where we handle haircuts and basic grooming. We don’t have those big fancy reclining chairs you see in the malls, but the ones we have are sturdy and do the job. The walls have a few posters of different styles, though most people just come in and ask for the same thing they’ve had for years. Model House is a busy neighborhood, so there is always someone walking past the window or popping their head in to see if a chair is free. We keep the scissors moving from morning until quite late in the evening. There is a small bench for people to wait on, and usually, there is a newspaper or an old magazine lying around to kill the time. The street outside can get quite narrow with all the parked scooters, but that’s just how life is on Phool Bagh Road. We try to keep the floor clear of hair as much as possible, though on a busy Saturday, it’s a constant battle with the broom. It’s just an honest local shop where we work hard and talk to the neighbors. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, but the shop stays pretty much the same. Most of our tools are old but well-oiled, and the light from the front door is usually enough to see.
