Our shop, Fashion.Com, is tucked away in the Sri Munsipuliya complex. It is one of those places that stays pretty lively throughout the day. Munsipuliya is always crowded with people heading to the market or catching the metro, so there is a lot of energy around here. We have a small corner where we keep all our things. It is a bit cramped sometimes when we get a lot of stock in, but we manage. We spend our mornings sorting through fabrics and making sure everything is where it should be. Sometimes the neighbors come in just to chat for a bit, which is nice. We don't have any big corporate rules here. If someone needs something, we just help them out. It is a very hands-on kind of job. My hands are usually busy with something or other all day long. The lighting in the complex isn't always the best, so we have a few extra lamps at our workstations. We’ve been here for a few years now and have seen the area change a lot. But we stay the same, just keeping our heads down and working. It is a decent place to be if you like being in the middle of everything. We don't go for anything fancy, just the basics of running a fashion shop in a busy Lucknow market. It gets loud with the traffic outside, but we are used to it by now.
