If you're looking for us, we’re on Parag Road in Hind Nagar. We are quite close to the Nirvana Club. Lucknow is a big city, but Hind Nagar feels like its own little world. We mostly do haircuts for the guys who live around here. It’s a basic shop. We have a few chairs and some mirrors that have seen better days. But they work fine. We aren't interested in being fancy. We just want to give a person a proper haircut so they don't have to worry about it for a month. The street outside can get pretty jammed up in the evenings. You can hear the music sometimes from the club nearby. We open up the shop, turn on the lights, and get the water ready. Most of our tools are the ones we’ve used for years. We know how they feel in our hands. It’s a routine. We see the kids growing up, coming in for their first cut, then later as teenagers. The 226012 area has plenty of shops, but people seem to like coming back to us. We don't do any big promotions. Word of mouth is usually how people find out we’re here. We keep a pot of tea going in the back. If it’s a slow afternoon, we might sit out front for a minute. But usually, there’s someone in the chair. It’s honest work and we like it that way.
