Drink Me

We've been at 15A for a while now. Most people know us because we're near Tadi Puliya. It’s a busy spot right on Kursi Road and the traffic never seems to stop. We just sell drinks here. It's nothing fancy, just a small shop in Nd Tiwari Nagar where we keep the shelves stocked up. Sometimes the traffic out front gets really bad in the evenings, so getting here takes a minute for the delivery trucks. I usually open up early in the morning before it gets too hot. People stop by on their way to work to grab something cold. We have different kinds of bottles. Some are big for families and some are small for people on the go. It gets very hot around here in the summer, so we try to keep the coolers running all day. The fridge makes a bit of a humming noise, but it works fine for what we need. I grew up not far from here, so I know most of the people who walk past. My family helps out when it’s busy or when I need to run an errand. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. Mostly it’s just folks from the neighborhood dropping in to say hello and buy a bottle. I try to keep the place tidy, but sometimes there are crates stacked up in the corner because we ran out of space. That's just how it is when you're busy every day.
