Denim Men

Denim Men is a shop located on Talkatora Road in the Alambagh area of Lucknow. You can find us right opposite the United Bank of India. The address is 226005, and it’s a pretty easy spot to reach. We mostly deal with men's grooming, like haircuts and shaves. The shop has a bit of an old-school feel to it. We have the standard chairs and the large mirrors that have been there for years. We don't go for anything modern or trendy in the decor; it is just practical. Living and working in Alambagh means we see a lot of the same people every week. The traffic on Talkatora Road is always moving, and we watch it from our front window during the slow parts of the day. We keep our tools sharp and our towels clean. It’s a job we know well, so we don't need to talk it up. We just do it. When someone comes in, they usually know what they want, and we get to it. Sometimes we talk about the local sports or the politics of the city, but often it’s just quiet with the sound of the clippers. It is an honest way to make a living and we are glad to be here across from the bank. The shop door sticks a bit in the humidity, but we are used to it by now and just give it a hard push.
