Chaudhary Departmental Store

Chaudhary Departmental Store is located in the LDA Complex in Gomti Nagar, specifically in Vivek Khand. We are right across from Nilkanth Sweets and near Zeniess Hospital. Our shop occupies two units, C-17 and C-18, so we have a bit more room than your average corner store. This allows us to keep a wider variety of groceries and household essentials in stock. Gomti Nagar is a busy part of Lucknow, and our location in the complex means we get a steady stream of shoppers throughout the day. We’ve been here for several years now, and we’ve seen the area change quite a bit. Despite being a "departmental" store, we still run things in a very traditional way. We don't have corporate uniforms or scripted greetings. We just talk to people like they are our neighbors, because most of them are. Sometimes the aisles get a bit cramped when the new crates arrive, but we try to clear them as fast as possible. Dealing with dozens of different distributors is the hardest part of the job. We try to make sure we don't run out of the basics like milk, bread, and sugar. If you need to pick up your monthly supplies or just a packet of chips, you can find us here. We don't make big claims about our shop; we just stay open and sell what people in the neighborhood need.
