Braj Ras Tea

Running Braj Ras Tea out of Flat 721 in Keshav Kunj Apartment keeps me pretty busy. It’s a bit unusual having a business in a residential block on Ram Roti Yojna Road, but it works for us. Most of the space is taken up by boxes and bags of tea waiting to be sorted. My family helps out when things get backed up, especially with the labels. The living room is mostly a workspace now. People from the neighborhood often just drop by when they run out of tea. I spend a lot of time on my phone coordinating with suppliers or making sure the deliveries are going out on time. It can be a bit of a squeeze when a big shipment comes in through the elevator. We don’t have a big storefront with glass windows, just the apartment door and a lot of paperwork on the dining table. Sometimes the neighbors ask about the smell of tea leaves in the hallway. It’s a modest setup, but we manage to get everything done. I try to keep the inventory moving so things stay fresh. It’s mostly about keeping track of who needs what and making sure the bags are sealed right. It’s not a corporate office, just a home where we happen to handle a lot of tea every single day.
