We are located at number 16 in Jahangirabad Mansion. This is a very old and well-known building in Hazratganj. We are quite close to the GPO, which is a big landmark in Lucknow. Bhargava & Company has been here for years. The office has thick walls and high ceilings, typical of these old mansions. It feels solid. We do chartered accountancy work, which means a lot of checking documents and filing forms. The area around GPO is always busy with people and cars. Sometimes finding parking is a bit of a headache, but that is just how it is in the center of the city. Inside, it is mostly just us and our old wooden desks. We handle personal taxes, business audits, and general accounting. We do not have a website with fancy graphics or anything. We just answer the phone and talk to whoever walks in. People know us in the neighborhood. We have seen the streets of Hazratganj change a lot over the decades, but our office stays pretty much the same. It is a comfortable place to work. We do not use much corporate talk. If someone has a problem with their ledger, we just look at it and try to fix it. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We like the history of this building and being part of the Ganj area.
