Bhagwati Traders

Being in Bhoothnath Market means things never really stay quiet for long. Our shop, Bhagwati Traders, is at number 32 in this part of Indira Nagar. Lucknow summers are no joke, so we usually have the fan going full blast from May till July. The shop itself is packed with all sorts of things, and sometimes it feels like we’re running out of room to put new boxes. We’ve been at this spot for a good while. You see the same faces every week, mostly folks from the nearby colonies who need their usual supplies. We don’t really do anything fancy here. We just open up in the morning, check what’s missing from the shelves, and wait for the morning rush to settle down. Sometimes the billing machine acts up or the electricity goes for an hour, but that’s just life in Lucknow. We spend a lot of time shifting sacks around and making sure things stay organized enough to find what a customer asks for. The market gets really crowded in the evenings, and it can be hard to hear yourself think with all the noise outside. But it’s home for us. We know the other shopkeepers around here, and we help each other out when someone needs change or a bit of help moving something heavy. It’s not a polished place, just a regular shop where we do our work every day without much fuss.
