Bajrang Store

Bajrang Store is at S-4/30 on Meena Market Road in Indira Nagar. Lucknow is a busy city and this market is no exception. Our shop is quite small, but we try to fit a lot of things inside. You will find stacks of grain bags and shelves full of soaps, shampoos, and spices. We have to be very organized because there isn't much room to move around. Most of our customers are from the houses nearby in Indira Nagar. They come here for their daily bread and milk in the morning. In the evenings, the market gets very crowded and the noise is quite something. We have been running this store for many years now. It’s just me and my wife. We don't have any staff. We do everything from cleaning the floor to ordering new stock. Sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming when many people come at once, but we manage to get through it. The shop has an old ceiling fan that squeaks a bit, but it helps during the hot Lucknow summers. We don't have any fancy computers for billing. We just use a small diary to keep track of everything. It’s a very traditional way of working. We know our regulars well and we always try to have their favorite brands in stock. It’s not a big fancy store, but it’s our life and we’ve been here a long time. It feels good to see familiar faces.
