Baba & San

Baba & San is the name on our sign here in Lucknow. Our shop is located inside the Marhaba Complex over in Victoria Ganj. We are very close to New City Hospital, which is a landmark everyone around here knows. It is a simple place where we go to work every day. My son and I run things together without any extra help. We don't have fancy decorations or big glass windows. It's just a standard shop with shelves and a counter. Being near the hospital means we see many different people every day. Some are in a hurry and others just want to sit for a minute. Lucknow is a busy city and Victoria Ganj is no exception. There is always noise from the street, but we don't mind it. We sell various items that people might need when they are visiting the hospital or just passing through the complex. We keep our records in a simple ledger book with a pen. There are no computers here because we like doing things the old way. It feels more personal that way. We know the other people who have shops in Marhaba Complex and we all look out for each other. If you are looking for us, just head towards New City Hospital and you will see the complex nearby. We stay open most days and just focus on doing our job well without any fuss or fancy talk. It is just an honest way to make a living.
