Lucknow can get incredibly humid, and during those months, we just try to keep the fans going and stay focused on the tasks. It’s a lot of practical stuff, like talking to suppliers and looking at seed samples or whatever biotech bits we are working on at the time. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or anything. We just show up at 17/30 Indira Nagar every morning and get to work. It’s a decent life and we’ve made some good friends in the neighborhood over the years. People stop by to chat or ask about the latest crops, and we like that human connection to the local community.
