Arun Kiranawala Store

Arun Kiranawala Store is situated in the Mahanagar area of Lucknow. We are right by the Hewitt Polytechnic College, so we see a lot of students passing by every single day. The store is just a basic kirana shop where we sell things like tea leaves, snacks, sugar, and other daily essentials. Being so close to the college means we get a lot of young people coming in for quick bites or things they need for their hostels. Lucknow is a busy place, and Mahanagar is no different. The traffic near the polytechnic can be a bit much during peak hours. My shop isn't very big, so things are stacked up wherever they can fit. The shelves are mostly wooden and old. I’ve been working here for quite some time now, and I’ve seen many batches of students come and go. It’s just me running the place most of the time. Sometimes the supply truck gets stuck in traffic and we run out of certain items for a day or two. It’s not a perfect system, but it works for us. We don't have any fancy displays or marketing stuff. It’s just a neighborhood store where you can get what you need without any fuss. The fan hums loudly in the corner and the street noise never really stops, but that’s just life in this part of Lucknow.
