Anand General Store

Anand General Store is found on Ashiyana Road in the L.D.A. Colony of Lucknow. This area is mostly residential, so we serve a lot of families who live right around the corner. We have been in this spot for several years now and have become a regular stop for many people. Our store carries a wide range of general goods, from kitchen staples like salt and pulses to snacks and household items. We try to keep the shop well-stocked so that our neighbors don't have to go far for their daily shopping. The shop is simple and functional, without any modern decorations or expensive fittings. We just have our shelves and our counter where we handle the transactions. It’s a quiet life for the most part, though it gets busy in the evenings when people are coming home from work. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. Word of mouth is how most people know about us. We spend our day talking to the people from the colony and keeping an eye on the inventory. Sometimes it’s a bit of a struggle to get all the supplies delivered on time, but we manage somehow. It is a straightforward way to earn a living, and we like being a familiar face to the people in the L.D.A. Colony. We just focus on having the basics ready for whoever needs them for their house.
