Adarsh General Stores

You will find Adarsh General Stores on Chowk Road, right in the heart of the Chowk area in Lucknow. We are directly opposite the Post Office, which is a very easy landmark for everyone to find. Our pincode is 226003. This part of Lucknow is always crowded and noisy, but I like the energy of the streets. I have been running this general store for quite some time now. I sell everything from batteries to notebooks and simple toiletries. The shop is quite deep, so there is a lot more inside than what you see from the front door. I keep a small desk at the back where I do my accounts and paperwork. The Post Office across the street means there are always people coming and going nearby. Sometimes they come in to buy a pen or some tape for their parcels. I don't use any computers here; I still use a manual weighing scale for some items. The walls are covered in shelves that go all the way to the ceiling. It is a bit of a maze sometimes when looking for things, but I know where everything is kept. I don't try to compete with the big malls in the city. I just provide a place for the local people to get their supplies without any fuss. It is a simple, honest way to make a living in the middle of Chowk. I hope to stay here for a long time.
