We are over here in Dhanora, which is part of Nilanga in the Latur district. The company name is Sojarbai Farmer Producer Company Limited. We use Sambhaji Madhavrao Jadhav’s place as our main point of contact. It is a quiet area, but we stay busy with all the farming tasks that need attention throughout the year. Being a producer company means we have to keep our heads down and focus on the practical side of things. There is not much room for fluff when you are dealing with the dirt and the rain. We get together to talk about what seeds to use or how the harvest is looking. Sometimes the meetings are long and a bit messy, but that is just how it is when everyone has an opinion. Our address is right in the village, so it is easy for the other farmers to find us when they need to talk. We do not have a website or anything like that, just this physical spot in Nilanga. It has been a journey trying to get all this organized. Farming is tough, and doing it alone is even tougher. That is why we started this group. We try to help each other out with the logistics and the selling. It is not a glamorous life, but it is our life. We are just regular people from 413521 trying to make the most of what we have.
