Soumya Trading & Engineering Company

We are out at Gut No. 48, specifically Plot No. 6/5 in Ranjangaon. It is near the MIDC area in Waluj, so it is quite an industrial setting. You can hear the sounds of machines and trucks throughout the day. Soumya Trading & Engineering Company is our base of operations. It is a practical space, mostly concrete and metal. We deal with engineering parts and trading different materials that the local factories might need. The air out here is often a bit dusty because of all the construction and the big vehicles moving on the roads. Inside our plot, we have some storage areas and a small office where we handle the technical side of things. It isn't a place for people who like quiet. We spend a lot of time checking specifications and looking at blueprints or order forms. Sometimes a truck gets stuck or a delivery is late, and we have to spend the whole afternoon on the phone sorting it out. It is hard work, and by the end of the day, we are usually pretty tired. But there is a sense of satisfaction in getting things built or moved. We have been in this part of Waluj for a while and we have seen the area grow quite a bit. It’s a tough environment but it suits us and the kind of work we do every day. The coffee we make in the morning is usually what keeps us going.
