Padmawati Engineering

Padmawati Engineering is based at Plot No-T-2, Public-7, in the MIDC area. Being in the MIDC means we’re surrounded by other workshops and factories, which is just fine for the kind of work we do. Our space at T-2 isn’t very big, but we’ve organized it so we can get the most out of every square inch. We do a lot of fabrication and general engineering work. It’s a noisy place with the sound of grinding and welding going on most of the day. We don't have a dedicated sales team or a polished image. Most of our time is spent actually working on the floor rather than sitting in an office. The walls are a bit stained from the oil and the floor has seen better days, but that's what a real engineering shop looks like. We’ve been part of this industrial community for a while and we know a lot of the people in the neighboring units. We’re just a group of people trying to earn a living by making things that last. We don't make big promises or use fancy language to describe what we do. If you need something made or fixed, you come to the shop and we talk about it. It’s a straightforward way to run a business and it keeps things simple for everyone involved. Some days the rain leaks through the roof a bit, but we just move the machines and keep on working.
