Located at Plot No.283 in the Cidco Growth Center, our school is right in the heart of the Waluj MIDC area. It is a bit of an industrial backdrop for a place of learning, but that’s just how Aurangabad is shaped. Raje Shiv Chhatrapati Bhartiya Sanskar Vidya Mandir follows the CBSE curriculum, which keeps us quite busy with all the different books and exam schedules we have to follow. The building is large enough to handle the students who come from all over the Cidco Waluj Mahanagar area. We spend a lot of our time making sure the schedules are followed and the teachers have what they need for their classes. It’s a lot of coordination, especially with the buses coming and going at specific times. The ground gets quite hot during the day, so we try to keep the students indoors when the sun is at its peak. We don’t have a fancy reception or a PR team. Most of our day is spent dealing with the actual business of running a school—checking attendance, talking to the maintenance staff about a leaky pipe, or organizing the library. It’s a practical environment where we focus on the daily lessons. Even with the long name and the official curriculum, we are just a local school trying to keep things organized for the families living around the MIDC. It’s a lot of work but we get it done.
