Out in Udgir, in the Latur district, is where you’ll find the College Of Dairy Technology. It’s a bit of a trek for some, but it’s a solid place for anyone interested in the dairy field. We don’t have those fancy glass buildings you see in the big cities of Maharashtra. Our place is more about the practical side of things. We have labs and equipment that get used every single day. It’s a working environment where students learn about milk and everything that goes with it. The halls are usually busy with people heading to lectures or working on some project in the back. We have a mix of staff, some who have been here for years and others who are newer, but everyone just gets on with their tasks. It’s not always quiet here, especially when the machinery is running or there’s a big group in the workshop. We focus on the actual skills people need when they finish their studies. The building is functional and a bit plain, but it’s where all the real work happens. We have a library and some basic common areas for the students to take a break. It’s a straightforward setup. We don't try to make it sound like something it isn't. It’s just a college where we teach the specifics of dairy tech to the people who come here from across the region. It’s hard work, but it’s honest.
