Our place is located at Plot No. P-10/1 in the Ida part of Necharam. It’s right in the middle of a lot of other industrial units, so there’s always something going on nearby. At Nagarjuna Palma India Ltd., we handle a lot of the day-to-day operations from this specific site. The building is a basic structure, nothing too modern, but it works for what we need to do. We spend most of our time dealing with the logistics of palma products and making sure everything is stored where it belongs. The yard is usually full of crates or drums depending on the week. Sometimes the gates get stuck in the rainy season, which is a bit of a pain to deal with. Our staff usually brings lunch from home and we sit around the small break area when things quiet down for a bit. It’s not a quiet neighborhood at all, with the constant hum of machinery from the neighbors. We’ve got a routine down where we check the incoming loads first thing in the morning and then spend the rest of the day sorting out the paperwork. Most of the people working here have been around for years, so we all know how the machines and the systems work. It’s practical work, nothing glamorous, just making sure the business keeps running. Necharam is quite dusty, so we are always cleaning the windows and trying to keep the office space tidy.
