Manomay Machines & Tools

Down in Balanagar, you’ll find our place at 24-792 in Panchashita Colony, specifically near Range Reddy Nagar. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of small shops and houses all mixed together. Our workshop at Manomay Machines & Tools stays pretty active throughout the day with people coming in to check on their orders or just to ask about a specific tool they need. We have shelves lined with all sorts of things, and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what we’re looking for in the back. The air is usually thick with the sound of grinding or the occasional thud of a heavy tool being set down. We don't have a big reception desk or anything like that. You just walk in and talk to whoever isn't currently busy with a machine. It’s a very hands-on kind of life here. We worry more about the quality of the cut or the fit of a part than how the front of the shop looks to passersby. The coffee guy comes around mid-morning, which is usually when we take our first real break. Then it’s back to the workbench until the evening. We like the community here in Balanagar; it feels like everyone is working hard on something, and we’re just another part of that daily puzzle. Sometimes the evening rain cools the place down, which we all look forward to after a long shift.
