Shivubha Madhavsinh Jadeja

Out here in Ravechi Nagar, things move at a different pace than the big cities. My name is Shivubha Madhavsinh Jadeja and this is where I operate from in Lakadia, which is part of the Bhachau taluka. It is a quiet area mostly, though you get a fair amount of dust coming off the roads when the trucks go past. I started this because there was a need for it in this part of town. The office is just a simple space where I sit and take care of the daily tasks. It’s not a big corporate setup with lots of staff in uniforms. It’s usually just me or a couple of guys helping out with whatever needs doing that day. People in Lakadia know where to find me if they need something handled. We don't have a big sign with flashing lights or anything like that. Just a door and some space to work. The weather can be pretty tough in the summer, so we usually start early to get the heavy work out of the way before it gets too hot to breathe. Most of our days are spent talking to locals and making sure the supplies are moving correctly. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes we are here late if a shipment is delayed, but mostly we try to get home when the sun goes down. It is a basic lifestyle but it suits the way things are in Bhachau.
