Kitchen Xpress Overseas Ltd.

Our operation is based at Plot No 623, Shed No. 402, in the New Area of the Kandla Special Economic Zone. Being out here in Gandhidham-Kachchh, we are surrounded by massive warehouses and the salty air from the coast. Kitchen Xpress Overseas Ltd. is basically just a huge shed where we process and pack things to be sent overseas. It’s a busy place with a lot of movement. You’ll see trucks backing up to the loading docks at all hours of the day. Inside, it’s mostly the sound of packaging machinery and people moving crates around. The SEZ is a bit out of the way, so it’s a quiet area until you get inside the gates. We don't have a fancy corporate office; the management sits in a small partitioned area right near the production line. It gets hot in the shed during the summer months, but we just keep the big fans going. We have a lot of stuff to get through every day to make sure the containers are filled on time. It’s a lot of physical work and logistics. We don’t spend time on brochures or mission statements. We just focus on the orders and making sure the labels are straight. It’s a straightforward environment where the goal is just to get the job done and go home. Working in the Kandla zone has its own rhythm, and we’re used to it by now. It is a big shed for big work.
