Our place is at 125 Main Complex on Plot No. 84 in Sector 8 of Gandhidham. We are right in the heart of the Kutch salt belt. Jalaram Salt Suppliers is basically a small office and a lot of logistics work. If you come to Gandhidham, you’ll see how everything revolves around the port and the salt pans. Our office isn't anything special to look at. We have some chairs, a few desks, and a lot of registers for keeping track of the bags. The air here always tastes a bit salty because of the wind coming off the coast. We spend a lot of time on the phone with truck drivers and people at the salt works. It’s a lot of coordination to make sure the salt gets where it needs to go. We don't wear suits or have big meetings. Usually, we are just drinking tea and checking the weight bridge slips. The sun in Kutch is no joke, so we stay inside during the peak heat, but the trucks keep moving regardless. Sector 8 is a busy hub for businesses like ours. We don't have a fancy mission statement; we just make sure the salt is loaded and sent off on time. It's a straightforward business and we like it that way. Most of our customers have been with us for years because we just tell it like it is and don't make promises we cannot keep.
