Duty Free Warehouses

We operate out of a big space in Gujarat, mostly dealing with all the stuff that comes through the state's trade routes. It is a warehouse, so it is exactly what you would expect—tall ceilings, rows of metal racks, and plenty of concrete floor space. The days usually start early when the first trucks pull up to the loading docks. We spend a lot of time checking lists and moving pallets around with the forklift. It gets really hot in the middle of the day, especially in the summer months, but the work doesn't really stop because there is always something else arriving or needing to be shipped out. We keep things pretty organized, even if it looks a bit messy to someone just walking in. There are stacks of boxes and crates everywhere, and we have to make sure nothing gets lost or damaged while it is sitting here. We don't really do much else besides storage and handling. It is a lot of physical work and keeping an eye on the clock to make sure the drivers aren't waiting too long. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit confusing with all the different items we have to track, but we have a system that works for us. It is just a regular warehouse job where we move things from point A to point B and try to keep everything in order.
