Ess Ess Traders

Out here in Village Khavda, life moves at its own pace. We are located near James Villas, which is a landmark most people use to find us. Being in a place like this means we do a bit of everything for the folks nearby. We aren't some massive warehouse in the city; we are just Ess Ess Traders, working out of a spot near the post office in Chandooda. My cousin helps me with the inventory, and we spend a lot of time checking the lists and making sure the supplies are coming in from the district hub on time. The roads can be a bit rough after it rains, so sometimes the trucks are late, and we have to tell people to come back tomorrow. It’s frustrating, but everyone around here understands how it goes. We handle a lot of basic goods that the local families and small farms need. There is no fancy sign out front, just our name and the work we do. Most of our day is spent talking to neighbors who drop by for a chat as much as for a purchase. We sit on the porch when it’s not too hot and watch the world go by. It’s a quiet way to earn a living, but it feels right to be part of the village like this.
