Dhanvantri School

We are located on Mirzapur Road in Bhuj, right in the heart of the district. This school has been around for a while, and we’ve seen the town change quite a bit over the years. Our building is right along the road, so it is easy for parents to drop their kids off on their way to work. It’s a busy area, but once you step inside the gates, it gets a bit quieter. We have a decent-sized space for the students and the staff. Most of our classrooms have old wooden furniture that has been used by many groups of children before this one. We take care of the place as best as we can, though the desert wind in Bhuj brings in a lot of sand every day. It feels like we are constantly dusting the shelves. The staff here is a mix of people who have been with us for a long time and some newer faces. We mostly talk about the daily schedule and what needs to be fixed around the building. It’s a very down-to-earth environment. No one wears fancy suits or uses big words. We just want to make sure the kids have a place to sit and learn. On the weekends, the building sits empty and we get ready to do it all over again on Monday.
