Keding Sene Organic Navkrishak Farmers Producer Company Limited is based out of Koloriang in the Kurung Kumey district. Specifically, you can find our main spot at Gyamar Yaniang’s place, E-142 in Nyapin. This part of Arunachal Pradesh is quite far out, so we have to stick together to get anything done. There are a lot of us farmers in this group now. We decided to go organic because that’s how everyone used to do it anyway before all those chemicals became popular elsewhere. It just makes more sense for our land. Life in Nyapin is quiet, and most days are spent out in the fields or checking on the plants. We don't have a big office with desks and computers everywhere. Instead, we mostly meet up and talk about the seeds or the weather. Sometimes the roads are a bit rough, especially when the monsoon starts, but we manage to get our produce moved. It’s a lot of physical labor, and everyone helps out their neighbors when it’s time to pick the crops. We just wanted a way to sell our stuff without having to rely on middle men who don't know the work we put in. It’s a local thing, run by people who actually live here and understand the soil. We are just trying to do right by our families and keep our traditions going while making a bit of a living.
