Being in the Kurung Kumey district, we’re a bit far from the big cities, but that suits us just fine. Our group is made up of neighbors and families from around the area who have been farming these hills for as long as anyone can remember. We decided to form this company so we could help each other out with the business side of farming. Usually, a farmer has to worry about everything from planting to finding a buyer, and it’s just too much for one person. Now, we share the load. We focus on growing things the natural way. There’s no point in using chemicals when the soil here is already so rich. Our days are long, starting before the sun is fully up and ending when it’s too dark to see the rows. We talk about the rain, the pests, and which seeds are doing better this year. It’s practical talk, the kind you have over a cup of tea. We don't have a big marketing team or a fancy office. We just have our farms and our commitment to the land. It’s hard work, but seeing the crops grow makes it worth it for all of us.
