Halima Real Estate is based in Adoni, right in the Adoni-Taluk area near the Markandagudi Temple. Being so close to the temple means we hear the bells and see the crowds every day. It’s a very local spot and most of the people who come to talk to us are folks we have seen around the market for years. We handle all sorts of things related to land and houses here in the taluk. The office is pretty basic, just a place to sit out of the sun and go over some documents. It can get quite dusty because of the roads, and we are always cleaning off the desks. We don't have a big staff or anything like that, just a couple of us who know the area well. People stop by on their way to the temple to ask about a piece of land or just to say hello and share some news. It’s a slow and steady kind of business. We don't do much on the internet; we mostly just talk to people face to face. If someone needs to find a place, they usually just ask around until they find our door. We know which parts of Adoni are growing and which ones are quiet, and that’s the kind of information we share. It’s a regular life here, and we’re just part of the local scenery, doing our work near the temple every day.
